New water samples were taken from the waters off Eaux Douces Beach. The test results confirm that there is no health risk and rule out the danger that had prompted the temporary ban on swimming.
Swimming is once again fully permitted as of today, Monday, August 10, 2026.
The “No Swimming” signs will be removed.
