The Coupe de la Ligue Sud de voile is a major regional sailing event taking place on June 6 and 7, 2026 on the Lac de Serre-Ponçon, between Embrun and Savines-le-Lac, in the heart of the Southern Alps.
The event is part of a strong regional dynamic: it enhances the sporting and tourist image of the Hautes-Alpes and introduces the general public and participants alike to an exceptional sailing site, bordered by mountains and overlooked by the emblematic peaks of the Morgon massif.
The Finale takes place on Lake Serre-Ponçon, between Chanteloube Bay, Embrun and Savines-le-Lac, in a spectacular mountain setting. The temperature differences between day and night generate a westerly thermal breeze almost every day, providing regular conditions ideal for racing, but modulated by the terrain, which can locally disturb the wind and demand tactical finesse from the racers.

Program:
Saturday 6 : Registration, preparation and briefing from 8am to 12pm. Regattas start at 12pm on 5 race zones and continue until 6pm.
Sunday 7 : Preparation and briefing from 9am to 12pm. Regattas resume at 12pm on 5 race zones or the Raid de Savines to Chanteloube, and finish at 4pm. The prize-giving ceremony for the regatta and the Regional Championship will take place at 4pm.
Notice to boaters: The slipway at the Capitainerie in Savines-le-Lac will be difficult to access this weekend due to the large number of participants. Navigation restrictions will also be in place. The competition organizer recommends that you carry out any necessary operations before or after the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.
