The Lake of Serre-Ponçon offers the various practitioners of water sports; such as water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, a 2800 ha playground. Indeed, the entire surface of the lake allows the practice of these activities with the exception of the Bay Saint Michel. However, some areas are privileged: Bay of Chanteloube, Bay des Eaux Douces, for the exclusive use for members of associations and waterskiing clubs.
Practitioners prefer skiing in the morning when the lake surface is clear unlike in the afternoon where this practice is less adequate (many waves). Four waterskiing and wakeboarding schools allow you to initiate or to improve yourself.
The navigation of nautical motorized vehicles is prohibited on the lake of Serre-Ponçon, except for the dedicated areas; between Rousset, La Bréole Le Sauze du Lac from 10am to 18pm.
Across the lake of Serre-Ponçon, you can rent a boat with or without license. You have the possibility to freely visit the lake and its unspoiled coves.
And to explore the lake and its green mountains in a different light, nothing like a cruise on the lake! From Savines-le-lac, Chorges, Rousset or Bréole, you can take off with friends and family ... the kids love it!
